Aim of the Workshop |
The workshop will treat aspects of the different
methods of porosimetry, such as N2 Sorption, Hg
intrusion, SAXS, SANS, NMR, TEM and Positron
Annihilation. A number of tutorial talks will
introduce the different techniques of
porosimetry and will emphasize the strengths but
also the limitations of the individual
experimental methods |
Location |
The
Meeting will be organized at the 21.-23. October
2015 at the
Helmholtz-Zentrum
Dresden-Rossendorf.

Language |
The
conference language is English. |
Begin | The
program starts at 13:00 in the main lecture hall
in
building
106. Before that, you can
have lunch in the canteen of HZDR (building
114). During arrival, please check in at the
main gate (building
110). There you will receive your HZDR
identification badge and your
guesthouse key (in case you register for
accommodation in the guesthouse - see below) |
Registration desk |
The
registration desk will be available in front of
the lecture hall at Wednesday from 12:00 to
15:00 and also to begin of the program on
Thursday and on Friday morning. Please pay the workshop fee of 120 € there in cash
(No cards please! There is an ATM at the main
gate.). In case you arrive at a different
time, please contact one of the local organizers.

End | The
program of the workshop ends on Friday at about
13:00. The canteen is still open until 13:30.
The rooms in the
guest house must be left already on Friday
morning until 10:00. |

Accommodation | The
new
guest house of the HZDR offers 26 single and
4 double rooms. The costs per night in a
single room are 28 € (with small kitchen in the
room) or 25 € (without kitchen). Please book
your room by yourself as early as possible and
contact for this purpose Ms. Elke Hobitz:

room must be paid in the guest house at the
reception desk which is open from 7:00-9:00 a.m.
When no more rooms are available in the guest

Breakfast |
Breakfast
is available in the guest house from 7:00 to
9:00. It costs 3.90 € and must be booked
together with the room. |
Canteen | You will
obtain at the registration desk tickets for the
canteen (for Wednesday to Friday) which are
valid for lunch, a drink and a dessert. |
Fee | The
workshop fee is 120 € and includes the two
evening programs, lunch for three days and coffee
breaks. The fee is to be paid at the
registration desk in cash (No cards please!
There is an ATM at the main gate). |

On Friday we will visit of the ELBE Radiation Source at HZDR including the positron facility EPOS.

Poster |

Posters will be displayed for the time of the
workshop in the area of the coffee breaks n
front of the lecture hall.
Please announce your intension to show a poster
until October 10th. (Mail
to R. Krause-Rehberg). |
Evening program |
Dinner will be provided on Wednesday. On Thursday evening we will go by bus to the center of Dresden. After a short guided walk through the center (Brühlsche Terrasse, Semper Opera, Münzgasse) we will visit the Restaurant "Pulverturm" and have dinner. The bus will return us to Rossendorf.

Provided the authors agree,
we will make the talks available as pdf files to
the participants of the workshop. |
